Hi, I’m Michael Gray

I am an artist, musician, and gardener with a deep passion for the natural world. I hope to ignite that same passion in my clients by creating beautiful landscapes that provide them with fruit, nuts, vegetables and herbs, while also providing native plant habitat to support local wildlife.

I believe that people can not only coexist with nature, but can become her ultimate healers and protectors. I invite you to join me in my journey towards fulfilling what I see as our shared purpose and duty: to be stewards of the Earth.

Our ethics

CARE FOR EARTH

We prioritize ecosystem health by incorporating native plants and other habitat features.

CARE FOR PEOPLE

We believe gardens should provide opportunities to connect with community through the sharing of plants, harvests, seeds, and knowledge.

FAIR SHARE

We strive to reduce consumption and waste so that we use only our “fair share” of the Earth’s resources.

DESIGN

As an alumni of both University of New Orleans and Southeastern Louisiana University, I received formal education in the visual arts with a focus in filmmaking and animation.

As a garden designer, my job is to direct the script written by nature. Much like a film, gardens are moving pieces of art which tell their stories over time through the coordination of a diverse cast of characters, using the drama between them to evoke emotion as trees grow, plants live or die, and scenes change with the seasons.
